I just now saw the list of nominations on the RPF site homepage, and all I have to say is THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to anyone who nominated "'Ello, Love . . ." under the category of "Best Angst/Drama." I really appreciate that. (I'm just sorry that I couldn't vote myself, but I couldn't vote using a public computer at the library, and my own computer at home is still being fixed and I don't have it back yet. Otherwise, believe me, I would have voted, voted, voted for all my faves on here! )

Thanks, chickadee! And I just found out yesterday that I'll be getting my computer back tomorrow. I'm going up to Illinois with my mom and her hubby, and my brother told my mom that he'd gotten my computer fixed but he's just been swamped with work and hasn't been able to take time off to come to Indiana himself to bring my computer back, and even though this past Thursday was his birthday, he was so busy at work this week that we wouldn't have been able to come up there and spend his birthday with him, so we're going up there tomorrow (Monday) to pick it up. I can't wait to be back online at home, so I can get in here (and anywhere else on the 'Net) anytime I want to, without having to get in my car and drive to the library to do it. And I can't wait to use the "other part" of his birthday present for me, too . . . because, aside from fixing my hard drive, he was also going to buy me an external hard drive, so I can have a way to completely back up my hard drive and be sure that all of my data, pictures, videos, etc. will be safe if my computer ever crashes in the future.

And, yeah, I knew that this was just for nominating people, but still . . . if I wasn't left without a computer at home for the past two weeks (going on three now), I would definitely have nominated my favorite stories and authors on here myself. I'm just grateful that anyone felt that my fic was worthy of a nomination, so I would have liked to return the favor and nominate all my faves, too. But at least I'll be able to actually vote when the voting begins.

Just wanted to add a little note here, because I realized I made a big mistake in this topic here on the story board . . . I started posting comments/updates on changes, and started receiving comments from readers and then answering them, before realizing that all comments should be directed to the Message board instead. SORRY!!

I love this story, its so well written. Seriously, I think you're an amazing writer, and have such creative ideas... I know Rob being oh so... hm.. delicious helps as well...

AWWW! Thanks! Like I've said before, this story really is pretty much "autobiographical," so a lot of the "ideas" for this story came from my actual life, including my family and my friends. And it's ok that you didn't comment on this story before it was "complete" . . . because I'd already actually written another version of this story for another fandom, so technically it was already "complete" when I posted it here back in September of last year.
