Hey everybody, the new site is up and looking snazzy. As I mentioned before, I moved it to Joomla, which I think works much better than WordPress, plus I know how to make templates for it. :) Please let me know if there are any display issues, it should render fine in IE 7+, FireFox 3+, Safari and Chrome.
I hope everyone likes the new look, feel free to leave a comment. I may be tweeking it here and there and adding new features as I see fit. (A chat room perhaps?)
Please note, the Internet is down at my house - I believe someone forgot to pay the bill and of course they're on vacation right now - so I might not be able to check in as often as I normally do. Currently, I am at the brand spankin' new library, taking advantage of their Wi-Fi. I hope the Internet situation will change, because I'm beside myself when I can't get on.
Anyway, enjoy!

Frustration! When I upgraded WordPress to 3.0 it cause the homepage to explode. I even updated the theme to it's most recent version; it continued to explode, and I don't have the patience to fix it/fight with WordPress.
I have been contemplating converting this site to Joomla! for a while now, and this has officially made me want that to happen. Please bare with me while as this site will not look so pretty for a while. Hopefully, I can have something up in Joomla quickly. |

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share that this site recently reached more than 100,000 hits! That is quite exciting. I can't thank you all enough for regularly visiting this site and actively posting. It still amazes me.
I also wanted to remind everyone of a few things ...
Format your title (subject line) like this:
Title (In/Complete)
Ex. Art (Incomplete - Updated 6/16)
You may put a last updated date as well, but anything else is unnecessary. Please, please make sure you post the status of your story, incomplete or complete, in the title. This makes it much easier for me to move stories to the right sections when they are completed. I usually don't move a completed story until it hits the second or third page in the category-rating it's posted under. You can also PM me or any of the moderators, and we will move it to the completed section at our convenience.
Fiction Challenges:
I would like to get these going again - maybe a new challenge once a month. If any of you have ideas for short stories that you'd like to see others write shoot me a PM. I am fresh out of ideas and anything would be great!
Stories by Author:
If you are an author and would like to have your stories listed under one place, PM me your story titles and the links to them. I will create a forum of sorts with links to each. It is your responsibility to let me know when you have a new story so I can add it to the listing.
Conversations:
Please keep conversations to a minimum in the story threads. It makes it very difficult to find where the next chapter is posted when you have to sort through more than just regular comments. We have a message board for that very reason - use it!
http://www.robertpattinsonfiction.com/messageboard/
Authors it would be great if you could direct any side conversations in your stories to the message board as well. Every little bit helps. I may be putting out a request for moderators soon to help police this (and for other general board maintenance).
When I go back to working part-time in a few weeks, I hope to put some time into revamping this Web site once again. I feel like I've been neglecting it, which I don't mean too. As always, if you have any suggestions, questions, concerns or need help with anything do not hesitate to PM me or leave a post in the "Support" thread. I will help you out as soon as I can.
Thanks again for sharing your talents with the rest of us!
