Swoozy’s Pick: The One by m244robp

Reason: One of my favorite stories here on RPF is actually a story that I started following on Twilighted. I was so excited to see the author post her story here as well. It can be found under the Romance/Friendship section, R/NC -17. (see link below) It is currently up to date here with the chapters posted on Twilighted although I’m dying for an update….hint, hint.

‘The One’ by M244robp has everything that a great story should have. It is chocked full of passion and emotion, highs and lows and even a dash of angst and drama. It is so well written that you feel every emotion that Rob and Rebecca go through. Rob has been painted with brush strokes of reality in this story. He makes mistakes and reacts rashly. In other words, he acts like a young guy and that’s just one of the parts I like about this story. Rebecca isn’t without her own flaws and imperfections either. The characters are honest and raw. Rob’s manager, Nick, is for the most part, the voice of reason in the beginning but ends up letting his own emotions rule his decisions adding to the swirl that threatens to take them all down.

It’s hard to take sides in this story. The three main players view points are so well supported and stated that you can’t help but feel for them all. They all make mistakes that have devastating consequences for all involved. The jury is still out but I’m cheering for a happily ever after….

The young lovers are definitely on an emotional ride in ‘The One’ and the writer takes you right along for the journey. You cry with them, you laugh with them and you can’t help but root for them in the end. If you want to read a story that will keep you wanting more…give ‘The One’ a read. It’s definitely worth a look….

Synopsis…..Rebecca Russell is a pretty, simple girl who owns a small bookshop in New York City. Her best friend and knight-in-shining armor is Nick Frenkel, who has looked out for her and taken care of her whenever she found herself in trouble ever since their college days. At one time in their lives, Nick — who we all know manages Twilight star, Robert Pattinson — promised to find Rebecca, THE ONE.

Nick introduces Robert to Rebecca on a visit to New York City. Nick thinks Robert is The One? Rebecca is not so sure.

Allycat’s Pick: Always, Darling by Gublercullen

Reason: “Imagine falling in love with someone, only from the words they have written. When Annabelle loses her journal, she never expected that the person who’s hands it fell into, would find any meaning from it.

Years later while watching an interview with one Robert Pattinson, Annabelle is shocked when she hears him quote from that very same journal. Her journal.

You will have to read to find out what comes from all this. I will tell you that this story has been a very exhilarating ride, and continues being one. Gublercullen has found a way to build up to their meeting, without making you give up on it entirely. Leaving you begging for more. They have close encounters making you just want to reach out and shake your screen, screaming “ Seriously!!!”.

As well as the intensity of the story, the descriptions are very… well descriptive, making it very easy to see the whole story inside your head. What can I say… I’m addicted. This story has made me a goner and I know there is much more to come.”
