1.  How did you get into fan fiction? Why Robert Pattinson fan fiction?

My first taste of fan fiction was Twilight-based. I loved the relationship between Bella/Edward and I wished there was more detail to their story. (Emotional details and sexual details) So I started reading fan fic as a way to fill that void. One day I thought to myself, "Wow, I wish there was some kind of site with hot fan fiction to feed my Robert Pattinson addiction, and not just my Edward addiction." This awesome site was what I found when I Googled. I've been hooked ever since.

2.  What made you decide to start writing fan fiction?

I had tried several times to write a novel, but had never been disciplined enough to follow through. My first fan fiction attempt was on this site, due to the enthusiasm and support I found here.

3.  What is your writing process?  Do you have a specific place you like to write, music you listen to, etc.?

I kick back in my favorite chair at Starbucks to draft most of my ideas but I write them at home. I listen to different kinds of music depending on the genre I'm writing. For RP fan fiction, I listen to a lot of Kings of Leon, Maroon 5, and Robert Pattinson's music.

4.  How much research goes into the stories? Time spent on the internet? Personal experience?

My research is limited for fan fiction, exhaustive when I'm writing an original novel (I've just completed the rough draft for my third novel). Much of my fan fiction writing comes from personal experience.

5.  What is the hardest/easiest part about writing?

The hardest part of writing for me is disciplining myself to do it regularly. Also, I never read when I'm writing something new. I don't want to mix up my characters' voices with those I'm reading. The easiest part of writing for me is dialogue.

6.  Out of the stories you've written which is your favorite? Favorite character? Why?

On this site, I'd have to say Stew is my favorite character. I love the idea of the sassy fat chick getting Pattinson. (Must be the sassy fat chick cougar in me, LOL!)

7.  What do you think makes a good story?

Conflict makes a good story. There has to be an obstacle for the protagonist to overcome or the plot is boring.

8.  Is there any story (or book) you wish you could have written? Why?

If I could have written any piece of classic literature, it would be Pride and Prejudice. I love the wit Austen poured into Elizabeth B.'s character and I think the relationship that develops between she and Mr. Darcy is classic and timeless. (Can you tell it is my favorite book?) If I could have written any piece of moderate literature, it would be Paper Towns by John Green. He is an amazing YA author and I love his writer's voice.

9.  Do you have any writing tips?

Write what you are passionate about--not what you think will please readers. If you aren't sold on the characters, no one else will be either.

From readers:

1. What is the most important thing you have learned about writing that you would like to share with the other writers here? - m244robp

Even if you are just writing fan fiction for your own pleasure, take pride in your work and be conscientious. Also, have fun with your writing. I 'hide' things in all of my stories. For instance, every story you find of mine will have "cherries" mentioned somewhere in it--long-stemmed cherries, cherry pie or cherry Lifesavers, heck, it could even be cherry-flavored Rolaids, but somewhere in every story I write (fan fiction and regular novels) I include a mention of cherries just for fun.

2. How would you react if you actually had a chance to meet Rob? (this is a Rob-related site, right?) - m244robp

I hope I would behave myself if I really met Rob. After all, I'm old enough to be his mother. I think I would gush on and on about his movies and his voice (I'm CRAZY about his singing voice. It was the first thing that drew me to him). Hopefully, I would resist the urge to talk dirty to him. Yeah, even though he knows I think it, my boyfriend probably wouldn't like it if I talked dirty to Pattinson.

3. What made you like Robert? Do you write Robert different then every one else? and what is you favorite Robert story that you didn't write? - queens_of_pattinson

I fell in love with Robert's bluesy, soulful voice when I heard him singing on the Twilight soundtrack. Of course, his sex hair, brooding stares, lickable jaw, and incredibly sexy hands didn't hurt matters either. I think I write a fairly predictable, "vanilla" kind of Rob. Other than the rape scene in "Stew," I usually portray him based on the persona he has painted for us through the media.

My favorite Rob story I didn't write? Wow, that's hard because there are so many good ones. I'm thinking duders79's story that she pulled from the storyboard last year was probably my favorite. I loved the depth of character her Rob possessed.

Favorites:

Book: Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen

Movie: Breakfast at Tiffany's or The Sound of Music

Actor/Actress: of course, Mr. Pattinson. I also love Dermot Mulroney and Gerard Butler. (Dang, I can't even think of favorite actresses...I really am a hornball, LOL.)

Band: Kings of Leon or Hillsong United (wow, now they are world's apart)

Song: Closer, Kings of Leon, or Secret by Maroon 5

Cookie: homemade Peanut Butter cookies (1 egg, 1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar)--easiest recipe in the world.

Last Words:

I was honored to have been chosen. I haven't posted a new story on this site in forever, but I still lurk about and read my favorite writers, even if I don't always have the time to comment. This is hands-down the best RP site on the web.
