1. How did you get into fan fiction? Why Robert Pattinson fan fiction?

I got into fan fiction years ago when I was a fan of a UK pop star. I joined his forum and found the fan fiction section and it caught my interest and I just started from there. I’ve always loved to write and that was a way for me to write about something that I liked, whist doing the other thing I loved, writing. Well, after watching Twilight and then reading the books, after Breaking Dawn had ended I had withdrawal symptoms! Lol. So I went in search of fan fiction found Twilighted and then I found the wonderful RPF and the rest as they say is history.

2. What made you decide to start writing fan fiction?

I’ve always loved writing. I always have some sort of a story on the go, even before I found fan fiction. I just decided to do it because it meant I could do what I loved, plus write about somebody that I liked as well.

3. What is your writing process? Do you have a specific place you like to write, music you listen to, etc.?

For me I write whilst I’m in bed of a night. I’m a bit of an insomniac and find myself awake until really weird hours, so I write then. I listen to my music, the higher the sound the better and I try to write at least a full chapter a night, sometimes more if I’m in writing mode.

4. How much research goes into the stories? Time spent on the internet? Personal experience?

It depends what I’m writing. I tend to make up my own time line as much as I can, or set it a little way in the future as much as possible. It depends really what I’m writing about, but I always try to do as much research as possible. In, Come Back To Me, Lila had a heart problem called heart failure, which I know quite a bit about as my Grandma suffered from the illness for six and a half years. So there came personal experience but the things about the transplant I did as much research as I could. I do like to add a little personal experience here and there, but it’s never anything earth shatteringly personal.

5. What is the hardest/easiest part about writing?

The hardest part for me is the doubt. I doubt myself so much sometimes that I drive myself insane.

The easiest part is simple, I love to write and even though the doubt creeps in I try and quash it because I love writing. Getting caught up in my characters and the storyline, to the point where I tell myself that I have to break off, or I’d be there writing all night is one of the things I love about it.

6. Out of the stories you've written which is your favorite? Favorite character? Why?

Wow that’s asking something! My favourite story, I’d have to say Someone Else’s Fairytale. Death is a very hard subject to write and unfortunately I’ve had a lot of dealings with it and I just hope I’ve done it justice. It has challenged me so much that I can’t tell you and I enjoy writing something that’s basically about every day life, we’ve all been through death and we all know what its like to live a day to day life and I’ve tried to bring that through as much as possible with this story.

My favourite character, well, I’d have to go back and again say Lauren from Someone Else’s Fairytale. She is very much like me and although I never intended that to happen, it sort of just naturally ended up like that as I was writing. Of course not everything about her is me, but she definitely has my stubborn streak! Lol.

7. What do you think makes a good story?

You need to have a good storyline believable characters and for me good grammar and punctuation. If something is all over the place and has no structure at all, it just puts me right off.

8. Is there any story (or book) you wish you could have written? Why?

That’s a toughie. I have read so many books and stories that I wish I had written and so couldn’t possibly just pick one.

9. Do you have any writing tips?

Write for you. Don’t do it for someone else or for the reviews, just do it for you. If it makes you happy and you like it, then don’t change a thing. Its like everything else, some will like it others won’t.

10. Who's your pick to be the next author interviewed? (This person will actually be it.)

My girl Sarahcini. So far she has only written one story, but I know there is more to come.

From readers:

1. Any more Tom-centric stories in the future? (Hey I have to ask, since I am the poster girl for Tom-love 'round these parts!)
– Stacey

Lol! Of course. In fact I have already have another one lined up. I’m just deciding when to post it.

2. Name three things you would change about Rob and three things you would keep the same? – Stacey

Now that is a hard one! I could go the fan girl route and say nothing because he’s perfect, but come on at the end of the day he is a man and no man is perfect, sorry Rob not even you! Ha.

One, I’d say his confidence. He always seems so down on himself. He doesn’t see what everyone else sees. So, I’d change his confidence maybe give him a little more confidence in himself and let him see what we all see.

Two, now as much as I love your quirky dress sense Rob and the fact that you have clothes that you’ve had for years. I still want to sometimes take you shopping and put you in some nicer clothes, still you just a little bit nicer! Lol. Come on we see what you look like in a suit ;) I’m not saying you have to become a fashion addict, but sometimes you do look like a hobo! Sorry don’t kill me. Lol.

Three, erm I don’t think I can think of a third a cop out I know!

Things I would never change, his sense of humour because its just classic and it makes me laugh every time. He’s got what us Brits call a typical British sense of humour and I like that.

His realness. You see so many stars that make it to the big time and just become a whole other person and Rob hasn’t, he keeps it real.

And of course his utter gorgeousness and his sex appeal. Ha. That was so shallow, but so very true. All in all he’s a great guy and it’s why we all love him, oh so much.

3. What is your continuing inspiration, after working on so many stories? – Stacey

You guys who take the time out to leave me nice comments and read my little stories. I can be having the worst day and doubting everything I write, but you guys always make me feel better and make me want to continue writing good stuff for you all.

4. Where do you get your idea's from? I usually get mine from dreams or songs or something like that but everyone is different. – Whitney

Pretty much the same. But sometimes they can come from a personal experience of friends, a family member or myself. It could be something that is said in passing, or perhaps something I read or see on the TV or even something I see or hear when I’m out and about. I get inspiration from everywhere basically.

5. Given the chance, would you ever consider being in a situation like Harley from Salve For You, where you had to be an assistant to a very cocky Robert Pattinson? – Haley

Hmmm now that is a hard one! I think I would have to say no because unlike Harley, I don’t have the authority to stand up to someone. I’m pretty much a wimp and know that I could never talk back the way she did, especially to Rob! Ha.

6. What is the most important thing you have learned about writing that you would like to share with the other writers here?
- m244robp

If it makes you happy, do it. Don’t simply do it for the glory and feedback you receive because there will be times when people just want to read and not reply. If you’re only writing to receive the praise that goes with it, then you’re in the wrong place because that isn’t what writing is about. Writing is about the freedom to be creative and let your imagination run off with itself and be free and while the feedback is nice, its just simply not what its all about.

7. How would you react if you actually had a chance to meet Rob? (this is a Rob-related site, right?) - m244robp

I’d probably stand really quiet in a corner and someone would have to push me into introducing myself or they would have to introduce me too him and then I would hope once the initial shock wore off, that I would be charming and delightful! Lol.

8. What made you like Robert? Do you write Robert different then every one else? and what is you favorite Robert story that you didnt write?
- queens_of_pattinson

Well, I’ll be honest first off it was from watching Edward and thinking he’s a bit yummy! But as I looked into him and found out more about him, I came to like him as Rob.

I think I try too. In a lot of mine first off he comes off as the bad boy, or the arrogant self-assured prick! Lol. Because I like a bad boy Rob, what can I say? I think he has potential to be a bad boy deep down! Ha.

My favourite Rob story that I didn’t write that’s a toughie. It’s a toss up between Stacey’s (smateo) Party Girl and Jax’s (yummydirtybrit) Upside Down.
