1. How did you get into fan fiction? Why Robert Pattinson fan fiction?

I got in to fan fiction because I simply wanted to write human Bella and Edward. One day I was joking with a friend and I wrote an one-shot about Robert, it received great reviews so I decided to write a full story. From then on it became addictive.

2. What made you decide to start writing fan fiction?

I have an active imagination, often Rob is the star of my day dreams so I just wrote them down.

3. What is your writing process? Do you have a specific place you like to write, music you listen to, etc.?

I have to listen to music and that’s about it.

4. How much research goes into the stories? Time spent on the internet? Personal experience?

At first, not much research went in to my stories, with “You Found Me” a lot of research went in to it. About a good six months before I even posted.

5. What is the hardest/easiest part about writing?

The hardest part is sad scenes, I’m very sensitive. The easiest is “love” scene, mainly fluff. Which is few and far between in some of my stories.

6. Out of the stories you’ve written which is your favorite? Favorite character? Why?

WOW! There’s so many. My favorite story that I have written is “You Found Me”, I shock myself with what I come up with plus I love mystery. Now my favorite character is Dania from my story “Secret Stoli Society.” she was fun to write since she was a drummer and I play the drums.

7. What do you think makes a good story?

Drama. Plain and simple, with no conflict there is no story. I love when people evoke real life situations in to a story, not every moment of relationships is ice cream and rainbows.

8. Is there any story (or book) you wish you could have written? Why?

“I’ll Stand By You” by Glasgow rose, she is THE best writer on here to me. “Right Here Waiting.” by sassy spacey, its really good. I re-read that one shot all the time.

I also wish I could write like Claire or any story she has written, I’ve been hooked on “Somersault” since it was posted.

9. Do you have any writing tips?

I’m the last person who should give out writing tips! But the main thing that breaks my heart is when a writer stops because no one is commenting. So I would say if you love your story, keep the faith in it!

10. Who’s your pick to be the next author interviewed?

Clairey, I want to know how she got the idea for “Somersault”, what is her writing process, and does she plan on doing another story after Somersault.

From readers:

1. How do you pick out the names for your lead characters in your stories? They always seem so original! – Clairey

I wiggle my magic eight ball! No, I use a lot of names of from people I know.

2. How do you decide on the background for the lead characters? Their family history? Their problems? – Clairey

I come up with the plot in my note book, then a name. I think to myself “What has this girl been through, what’s her story?” we all pretty much know Robert story so I like to focus on the lead a little more. Sometimes I even dream about the story, (crazy I know!)

3. You write so many stories at the same time, and that to me is quite impressive (as I’ve already told you). But I’d still like to know: how do you do it? How can you juggle different storylines, characters, emotions, etc. at the same time? – Clairey

The fact that I have an imagination that goes on and on way into the night helps. I don’t know how I do it to be truthful, also I must admit I hate that! I wish I could focus on one story at a time.

4. All of us have a different idea of who Rob is when we write him into our stories. I was wondering, what kind of Rob do you see in your head when you write him? – Clairey

It depends on the story, but I do notice my Robert is different from other stories. I guess I just see him different then everyone else, I see him as a humble guy who is kind of silly, and has an extreme passion for what he does.

5. What is the most important thing you have learned about writing that you would like to share with the other writers here? – m244robp

Go with your heart, it’s your story don’t let others try and change it. Don’t get discouraged from reviews. Have fun with it.

6. How would you react if you actually had a chance to meet Rob? (this is a Rob-related site, right?) – m244robp

I would run, because I am chronically shy in person. Or I would say “ I loved you in how to be.”

7. Greatest accomplishment so far? – sassy spacey

In life? Would be my career.

8. Your dream job? – sassy spacey

Roberts beard groomer. Or a drummer for a Kings Of Leon cover band!

9. If you could talk to one author dead or alive who would it be? What would you talk about with them? – sassy spacey

Bret Easton Ellis. He writes about people he knows, so I would ask how was it like to live in the middle of such decadence.

10. What kinds of books do you read? – sassy spacey

Mystery, and anything by Bret Easton Ellis

11. Where did you come up with the idea for “You Found Me”? – sassy spacey

It was a combination of so many things. The idea had been in my mind for so long but mystery doesn’t really have a home on this site so I held off, but a quote from Rob about karma made me start writing that story.

“I believe in Karma. I believe it exists and whatever you do in your everyday life makes the person that you are. What you give in life comes back to you. I’m convinced of that, so I’m sure that everyday you have to be a good person and treat everyone with respect. We’re all connected.”
- Robert Pattinson

It was fate, my story is about being connected to your soul mate in a way you would never imagine.
